Shipping policy

At Green Yard Works, we pour heart and soul into every handmade product. We pack each order ourselves from our home workshop in Raleigh, North Carolina. Because our items are handcrafted, we take extra care to ensure everything is packaged safely so it reaches your home or garden in perfect condition.

Where We Ship

We currently ship to all 50 US states. At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

Shipping Cost

We believe in simple, transparent pricing. We offer flat-rate shipping on all orders, or you can choose to offer free shipping if you prefer (you can adjust this in your Shopify Shipping Settings).

How We Process Your Order

When you place an order, we get to work. As these are handmade goods, please allow [1–3] business days for us to finalize and carefully pack your item before it is handed to the carrier.

  • Processing Time: Orders placed Monday through Friday will be processed and handed to the carrier within 1–3 business days.

  • Weekends/Holidays: We do not process orders on weekends or US Federal Holidays. If your order is placed during these times, we will begin processing it on the next available business day.

Delivery

All orders are shipped via [USPS/UPS/FedEx]. Once your order leaves our workshop, the carrier typically delivers within 2–5 business days, depending on your location.

Please note: During busy holiday seasons, carriers may experience slight delays. While we always get your order out on our end without delay, these carrier slowdowns are outside our control.

Tracking Your Order

Every order comes with a tracking number. As soon as your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking details. You can follow your parcel’s journey directly through the link provided in your email. If you don't see it in your inbox, please check your spam folder before reaching out.

Your Delivery Address

Please make sure your shipping address is entered correctly at checkout. Once an order has been handed to the carrier, we cannot make changes to it. If an order is lost or delayed due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, we are unfortunately unable to take responsibility.

Cancellations

We move quickly to get your handmade items to you. If you need to cancel an order, please contact us at contact@GreenYardWorks.com as soon as possible with your order number. If the item has already been shipped, we will not be able to cancel it, but our returns process will be available once it arrives.

Missing or Damaged Items

  • Missing Orders: If your order has not arrived within 10 business days of your dispatch email, please reach out and we will investigate it for you immediately.

  • Damaged Items: Because our items are handcrafted, we package them with extra care. If something arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Send your order number, a brief description of the issue, and a photo of the item and the packaging so we can make it right.
