Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship to?

We ship to all 50 US states. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

How much does shipping cost?

We provide clear flat-rate shipping options directly at checkout. The final price you see during checkout is the total price you pay. (Alternatively, if you prefer to offer free shipping like the reference site, you can change this answer to: Shipping is completely free on every order. No minimum spend, no hidden charges.)

How long will my order take to arrive?

Because our home and garden decorations are individually handmade, we carefully pack and dispatch orders within 1 to 3 business days of your payment being confirmed. Once your order leaves our workshop, the carrier typically delivers within 2 to 5 business days. In total, you can generally expect your handcrafted piece at your door within 3 to 8 business days.

What is your order cut-off time?

Orders placed before 5:00 PM EST Monday to Friday will begin their processing and packaging schedule the same day. Orders placed after 5:00 PM or on a weekend will begin processing on the following business day. We do not process or dispatch orders on weekends or US Federal Holidays.

Which delivery service do you use?

We ship our handcrafted products using trusted carriers like USPS and UPS to ensure they arrive safely. Every single order includes a tracking number which will be emailed to you as soon as your package has been shipped.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking details and link. You can follow your parcel the whole way right to your door. If you have not received your tracking email, please check your spam or junk folder before contacting us.

My order has not arrived. What should I do?

If your order has not arrived within 10 business days of receiving your dispatch confirmation email, please contact us at contact@GreenYardWorks.com. We will immediately check your tracking data and follow up with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue for you.

Can you deliver to a PO Box?

Yes, we use shipping services that can deliver directly to PO Boxes without any issues.

What happens if I entered the wrong delivery address?

Please make sure your delivery address is entered correctly at checkout. We are unable to redirect or alter parcels once they have been handed over to the shipping carrier. Green Yard Works cannot be held responsible for orders lost or delayed due to an incorrect address provided at the time of ordering.

Handcrafted Products

Are your items mass-produced?

No, not at all! Every single product at Green Yard Works is built, painted, and detailed by hand by Joshua Eugene McLean in our Raleigh, North Carolina workshop.

Will my item look exactly like the picture online?

Because we work with natural materials like wood and handcraft each piece individually, slight variations in natural wood grains, knots, textures, and hand-finished paint strokes are normal. This is a signature trait of authentic artisan decor and means your item is truly a one-of-a-kind masterpiece!

Returns and Refunds

What is your returns policy?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return. Items must be unused, uninstalled, in their original condition, and in their original packaging. Please contact us before sending anything back, as returns sent without prior approval cannot be processed.

How do I request a return?

Email us at contact@GreenYardWorks.com with your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return. We will respond within 24 to 48 hours, Monday to Friday, with full instructions on how to proceed.

Who pays for return shipping?

If the item arrives faulty, structurally damaged, or incorrect, we will cover all return shipping costs and provide you with a prepaid shipping label. If you are returning an item due to a change of mind, return shipping is your responsibility. We recommend using a tracked service in that case. However, we are always happy to offer a full store credit or an exchange at no extra cost to you if that works better.

My item arrived damaged or faulty. What do I do?

Please contact us within 14 days of delivery at contact@GreenYardWorks.com with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos of the damaged item and the shipping box. We will arrange a full refund or build and ship a replacement at no cost to you.

When will I receive my refund?

Once we receive and inspect your return at our workshop, we will notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be processed within 7 business days directly to your original payment method. Please allow an additional 3 to 5 business days for your bank or card provider to post it on their end.

I have not received my refund. What should I do?

First, double-check your bank account and contact your card provider, as internal processing times can vary. If you have done both and still have not received your refund after 7 business days of our approval email, contact us at contact@GreenYardWorks.com and we will look into it straight away.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, and Discover. We also accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal Wallet for a fast, easy, and secure checkout experience.

Is it safe to pay on your website?

Yes, absolutely. Our online store is powered by Shopify, which uses advanced SSL encryption and is fully PCI DSS compliant. We never store or have access to your full card details on our systems.

When is payment taken?

Payment is processed securely at the exact time your order is placed. Your order will not enter our workshop processing schedule until payment has been successfully confirmed.
